Hydro
Power
Two elements
are needed in order for water to generate electricity: head and flow.
Head refers to the vertical drop that water travels through, and flow
refers to the quantity of water over a period of time. Obviously,
not everyone has access to a good hydraulic site, and so, this system
is site-specific and is not available to everyone. If you're lucky
enough to have a river running through your property, you have access
to power 24 hours a day, and as long as the water keeps running. With
this system, you will have plenty of electricity, and can have luxuries
that other systems cannot support. |
